How We Got Started
Our story began in 1945, when Ellis and Emma Kropf purchased the original 50-acre farm and grew row crops, wheat, and berries. In 1980, Richard and Karen Kropf carried the legacy forward, gradually transitioning the property into a wholesale nursery. The next generation took the reins in 2006, when Ron and Kara Kropf expanded the farm by an additional 25 acres and focused on strengthening the nursery’s operations and plant quality.
